The spotlight lamps were perfect for what I was looking for. I didn’t install them with the hardware I simply plug them in and place them in the pot of artificial trees which is perfect you can have them in any direction they give great back lighting and you can set them up so that they accent your room just as you would like I bought them twice now and I’ll buy them again.

This is a nicely designed and manufactured fixture. It is designed to be mounted on a wall or ceiling–the base is not heavy enough to use it on a floor or table. I wanted to use it on a table so I weighted the inside of the base with some lead shot in a ziplock bag, cut a round piece of wood the same diameter as the fixture, and mounted the fixture on the wood circle. It works perfectly.

I purchased this to do some uplighting on items I have on a shelf in the foyer. Although advertised as such – the light is very bright and I feel a little too much so for use with uplighting. My husband was able to make a covering for it to dim it a bit and it will work for now.
